Diplock Tabbed as GNAC Player of the Week

STANDISH, ME – Sophomore attacker Cassie Diplock (Augusta, Maine/Cony) has been chosen as the GNAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Diplock scored 13 goals and added a pair of assists in a 1-1 week for the Monks. She tallied eight goals and an assist in a 20-19 overtime loss at the hands of Rivier College on April 10th and registered give goals and a helper in 12-9 victory over Thomas College on April 12th. The weekly top-player honor is the first of her career.

As of April 17th Diplock leads the Monks in goals (49), points (54), shots (84), shots on goal (67) and free-position goals (10).

Saint Joseph's (7-4, 4-3 GNAC) will host Mount Ida College on Wednesday in a conference contest set to begin at 4:00 PM.
