Diplock Honored for Second-Consecutive Week

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College junior midfielder Cassie Diplock (Augusta, Maine) has been listed on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for the second-consecutive reporting period.

Diplock netted six goals in a 1-1 week for Saint Joseph's, including all three of the Monks' goals in a loss to Bates College on Monday and a trio of markers in a 13-11 victory over Mount Ida College on Thursday.

The junior standout currently leads the team in goals (20), points (24), shots (43), shots on goal (35) and game-winners (3) and has tallied 13 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and four draw controls through seven contests this spring.

Diplock became the third Saint Joseph's player to record 100 career goals with her second score in the loss to Bates last week and has netted 104 goals with 17 assists for 121 total points through 33 career contests. Alyssa Marchant '11 (203 goals) and Lauren Hagerman '10 (130) are the only other Saint Joseph's players to score 100 or more career goals.

Saint Joseph's will host University of Maine-Farmington at 7:30 PM tonight at Deering Memorial Stadium.
