Kelly Named GNAC Player of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been announced and Saint Joseph's College junior Kayla Kelly (York, Maine) has been named as the GNAC Corvias Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Kelly earns the weekly award after scoring six goals with nine ground balls and three caused turnovers in an 11-7 victory over University of Southern Maine on Friday.

Through three games for the undefeated Monks, Kelly has tallied 11 goals and four assists with 22 ground balls, 10 draw controls, and seven caused turnovers. She currently leads the team in assists and ground balls and is tied for the conference lead in ground balls.

For Kelly, the weekly conference honor is the first of her career.

Saint Joseph's will host Simmons College this afternoon at 4:00 PM.
