CAPE COD, Mass - After finishing the regular-season
with a 16-1-3 record, Saint Joseph's College was
selected as the number four seed in the 2007 ECAC Division III New
England Women's Soccer Championship. The tournament is an
eight-team field with quarterfinal, semifinal and championship
rounds.
In the first-round on Wednesday, November 7, Brandeis University
will play host to Emerson College (13-4-4) at 4:30 p.m., while
Roger Williams University (15-5-1) will face Curry College (13-6-1)
at 1:00 p.m. Keene State College (11-9-1) plays Western New England
College (13-5-3) at 6:00 p.m. at Keene State and Saint
Joseph's College of Maine (16-1-3) will face Massachusetts
Institute of Technology at 2:00 p.m. in Standish. The game will
mark the first time the Monks Women's Soccer program has ever
hosted a Regional postseason event.
