STANDISH, Maine – Senior forward Haley DaGraca (Saco, Maine) continues to rewrite the Saint Joseph's College women's soccer record book.
The fourth-year standout headed into her senior season as the Monks' all-time leader in goals (50), game-winning goals (13), and shots (288) and toppled perhaps the most prestigious record – career points - when she scored her second of three goals in a 3-1 win at Regis College on Wednesday, September 12th.
DaGraca began her final collegiate campaign with 109 points and entered the contest versus the Pride with 113. She tied the record with her first goal at the 46:28 mark and surpassed it with a strike at the 68:56 mark. With her third goal that night, DaGraca finished the game with 119 career points, pushing her past former SJC standout Kathy Britton '93, who tallied 115 points (44 goals, 27 assists) in just three seasons.
DaGraca currently ranks sixth among all active NCAA DIII Women's Soccer players in goals (55), ninth in points (121) 11th in points per game (1.95), and 13th in goals per game (0.89).
The 2016 GNAC Offensive Player of the Year honoree has garnered 21 individual accolades during her career, including three First Team All-GNAC honors and four All-New England awards.
For DaGraca, the hat trick effort against Regis was the seventh of her career and marked the 12th time that she had scored multiple goals in a game.
