DaGraca Invited to Play in 2018 NEWISA Senior Bowl

STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College senior forward Haley DaGraca (Saco, Maine) has been selected to play in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl Game, to be held at Merrimack College on Saturday, December 1st at 12:00 PM.

DaGraca will be the third Saint Joseph's player to participate in the annual exhibition contest, which features the top women's soccer seniors at New England-based schools across all three NCAA divisions. Former SJC standouts Katie Jordan '09 and Sarah Comtois '18 competed in the 2008 and 2017 senior games, respectively.

The two-year team captain essentially rewrote the Monks' record book during her time on the pitch and graduates as the owner of the team's career records in goals (70), points (155), game-winners (20), and shots (403). She wrapped up her collegiate career ranked sixth in points and goals among all active NCAA DIII Women's Soccer players.

The two-time GNAC Offensive Player of the Year (2016, 2018) and four-time First Team All-GNAC honoree led the conference in goals (19), points (44) and game-winning goals (7) this fall.

She is the only player from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to be selected to play in this year's game and is one of two players – UNE midfielder Avery Bond is the other – from a Maine institution to be invited.
