Jeremiah (J) Moody grew up in a military family and has spent many years in different parts of the globe playing, coaching and watching this great game.   As a boy on the west coast watching the likes of Preki, Steve Zungul and Mike Dowler with the Tacoma Stars MISL team, he developed a passion for the game that stuck.  J spent his early days as a keeper but later moved into the field where he played through high school and two years at the University of Maine Presque Isle where he helped the Owls win their conference, NCC at the time, with 4 goals as a freshman.  After his sophomore season J joined the Army and was stationed in Landstuhl Germany where he played in net for the Kaiserslautern regional team.  He also won the European Armed Forces Championship with the K-town volleyball team as an outside hitter.

While in Germany he married, had his first son and later a second son upon returning to the US.  He found another side of the game and started coaching when the boys got a little older.  J’s been coaching now for 10 years at various levels of the game and has helped coach Seacoast United Maine teams to the Granite State Championships, Region I Championships and Super Y Nationals. He is also the Boys Director of Soccer at Bonny Eagle Soccer Club and head coach for the Seacoast United Goalkeeper School in Gorham.  J holds the NSCAA National GK License, and just completed the USSF C Course in August of 2014.
