GNAC All-Academic (2014)

2013-14: Competed in 21 individual races and 19 relays during her second collegiate campaign…notched a pair of third-place finishes…posted a personal-best 46.89 time in the 50-Breast versus Husson University on November 2nd…notched another best with a 34.71 and third-place finish in the 50-Fly at Regis College on November 15th…swam in the 100-Free (1:15.89), 50-Free (34.78), 50-Breast (49.35) and 50-Fly (36.04) prelims and swam a leg for the Monks’ 200-Free Relay squad at the GNAC Championship on December 8th.

2012-13: Raced in 19 individual events and five relays as a freshman…placed fourth in the 200-Free (2:47.50) and 50-Fly (35.74) events in her first NCAA meet at Husson University on November 3rd…placed third with a 36.53 time in the 50-Fly versus Elms College a week later…recorded a personal-best 32.84 time in the 50-Free preliminary at the GNAC Championship on December 2nd…tallied a personal-best 1:12.83 time and placed fifth in the 100-Free versus Gordon College on February 2nd.

High School: Swam one year of junior varsity swimming and three years of varsity for North Kingstown High School, making the Divisional meet each of the last two years.

Personal: Claire Adelaide O'Brien, born on March 8, 1994 in Newport, Rhode Island...daughter of Patrick O'Brien and Tracy Correll...majoring in Nursing.
