STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College hosted a double-dual meet with Simmons College and Western New England University at the Harold Alfond Center Pool on Saturday afternoon. The Monks fell to Simmons, 211.50-40-50, and suffered a 169-75 setback at the hands of Western New England.

SENIOR MOMENT:

Prior to the start of the meet, Saint Joseph's held a brief ceremony to honor the program's two seniors: Leia Berube (Brewer, Maine) and Olivia Marable (Buffalo, N.Y.). Berube, a team captain, has participated in 103 individual races during her career while Marable competed in 12 events as a freshman and has served as a team manager for three seasons.

THE RUNDOWN:

• Freshman Alexis Coiley (Fort Fairfield, Maine) finished second in the 500-Free (5:54.29)
• Junior Julia Rowlett (Saco, Maine) placed third in the 50-Back (33.38)
• Sophomore Autumn Nostrom (Lyman, Maine) was third in the 50-Free (27.35)
• Sophomore Emily Roy (Sidney, Maine) finished third in the 200-Back (2:30.66)

OF NOTE: The SJC men's swimmers competed in exhibition races throughout the day in an attempt to earn additional qualifying times for New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championship events.
