STANDISH, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College swim teams swept a head to head swim meet with Elms College at the Harold Alfond Center Pool on Saturday afternoon. The SJC women defeated the Blazers by a 153-101 score and the men posted a 122-97 victory.

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:

  • Freshman Joy Mastrocola (Stoneham, Mass.) won the 50-Breast (37.65) and finished second in the 50-Fly (31.59)
  • Freshman Alirose Beauregard (Dover, N.H.) won the 200-Free (2:08.70), 100-Free (58.94) and 500-Free (5:57.42) events
  • Freshman Emilienne English (Cranston, R.I.) finished first in the 100-Fly (1:09.07) and 50-Fly (30.58) events and was second in the 400-IM (5:40.87)
  • Junior Alexis Coiley (Fort Fairfield, Maine) placed second in the 1000-Free (12:30.98), 100-Free (1:01.51) and 500-Free (5:59.46) races
  • Junior Emily Roy (Sidney, Maine) finished second in the 50-Back (33.35) and 200-Back (2:31.04)
  • Junior Autumn Nostrom (Lyman, Maine) won the 200-Breast (3:04.79) and was second in the 50-Free (28.26)
  • Junior Hailey Bouyea (Lewiston, Maine) was second in the 200-Breast (3:15.24) and third in the 1000-Free (15:22.18) and 50-Breast (42.11)
  • Freshman Abby Lenko (Augusta, Maine) placed third in the 50-Back (36.66)
  • Freshman Sierra Lumbert (Gorham, Maine) finished third in the 200-Back (2:39.31)
  • Freshman Hannah Kibbin (Augusta, Maine) was third in the 200-Breast (3:26.04)
  • Roy, Nostrom, Mastrocola, and Lumbert finished first in the 200-Medley relay with a 2:10.44 time
  • Coiley, Mastrocola, English, and Beaureguard won the 400-Free relay (4:07.12)

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:

  • Senior Stephen Quinlan (Andover, Mass.) placed first in the 50-Breast (30.42) and 200-Breast (2:29.18)
  • Freshman Joe McPherson (Eliot, Maine) won the 100-Fly (1:00.14) and 400-IM (5:08.33) events
  • First-year Nathan Landry (Derry, N.H.) won the 50-Free (24.47) and 100-Free (55.46) and was second in the 50-Fly (27.85)
  • Freshman Ryan Watson (Bangor, Maine) won the 500-Free (5:42.46) and finished second in the 1000-Free (11:48.29) and 200-Free (2:10.99)
  • Senior Zack Gryskwicz (Standish, Maine) was second in the 200-Free (2:05.04), 50-Back (32.09) and 500-Free (5:49.11) events
  • Freshman Joseph Nichols (Tyngsborough, Mass.) won the 200-Back (2:34.59) and placed third in the 50-Back (33.85)
  • Nichols, Quinlan, McPherson, and Landry won the 200-Medley relay with a 1:55.08 time
  • Quinlan, Watson, McPherson, and Gryskwicz placed first in the 400-Free relay (3:43.73)
