STANDISH, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College swim teams suffered a pair of losses to Regis College at the Harold Alfond Center Pool on Saturday afternoon. The women fell 146-109 while the men lost by a 150-63 score.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- Freshman Alirose Beauregard (Dover, N.H.) won the 200-Free with a new program-record 2:05.15 performance, placed first in the 100-Free (58.43), and finished second in the 50-Free (26.66)
- Freshman Emilienne English (Cranston, R.I.) broke the SJC 50-Back record -for the second-consecutive week - with a 29.96 time, good for second overall, and also placed second in the 100-Back (1:06.76)
- Junior Alexis Coiley (Fort Fairfield, Maine) placed second in the 1000-Free (12:30.94) and 500-Free (6:02.51)
- Junior Autumn Nostrom (Lyman, Maine) finished third in the 50-Breast (38.69)
- Junior Emily Roy (Sydney, Maine) was second in the 50-Fly (32.28) and third in the 100-Fly (1:15.92) with a top finish in the 100-IM (1:14.07)
- Freshman Sierra Lumbert (Gorham, Maine) placed third in the 100-Breast (1:24.18)
- Senior Julia Rowlett (Saco, Maine) placed second in the 100-IM (1:18.16)
- Freshman Claire Baker (Bucksport, Maine) was third in the 100-IM (1:45.07)
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Senior Stephen Quinlan (Andover, Mass.) was second in the 50-Breast (30.56) and 100-Breast (1:07.83) with a top finish in the 100-IM (1:00.39)
- Senior Zack Gryskwicz (Standish, Maine) placed second in the 200-Free (2:00.24), 50-Free (25.01), and 100-IM (1:05.39)
- Freshman Nathan Landry (Derry, N.H.) was second in the 100-Fly (1:00.55), 100-Free (53.87), and 50-Fly (27.02) races
- Freshman Ryan Watson (Bangor, Maine) finished third in the 1000-Free (11:43.70), 200-Free (2:11.31) and 500-Free (5:45.68) events
- Freshman Joseph Nichols (Tyngsborough, Mass.) was third in the 50-Back (32.07), 100-Back (1:09.69), and 100-IM (1:13.38)
