WESTON, Mass. – The Saint Joseph's College swim teams competed in a head-to-head event at Regis College on Friday evening. The SJC men lost by a 77-48 score and the St. Joe's women fell to the Pride, 123-60.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- Sophomore Alirose Beauregard (Dover, N.H.) finished second in the 200-Free (2:11.23) and third in the 100-Fly (1:11.84)
- Freshman Madison Mills (Atkinson, N.H.) placed second in the 50-Free (28.54) and 100-Free (1:02.47)
- Senior Emily Roy (Sidney, Maine) finished as the runner-up in the 100-IM (1:14.28) and placed third in the 100-Back (1:12.66)
- Senior Autumn Nostrom (Lyman, Maine) was third in the 50-Free (29.59)
- Sophomore Hannah Kibbin (Augusta, Maine) posted the third-best time in the 100-Breast (1:26.56)
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Freshman Evan Whaley (Merrimack, N.H.) won the 100-Fly (1:00.14) and 500-Free (5:15.36) events and placed second in a very close 200-Free (1:53.65) race
- Sophomore Ryan Watson (Bangor, Maine) was second in the 1000-Free (11:39.98) and third in the 100-Fly (1:12.25) and 500-Free (5:42.72)
- Junior Anthony Blatus (Dracut, Mass.) finished second in the 100-Free (1:05.09) and third in the 50-Free (27.26) and notched the second-best time in the 100-Breast (1:29.90)
