Dostie Competes at ECAC Championship for Third-Consecutive Season

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Saint Joseph's College senior Amber Dostie (Standish, Maine) competed in the 2015 ECAC DIII Indoor Track & Field Championship, placing 22nd with a 5:18.54 effort in the 1-Mile event at the New Balance Track and Field Center in New York City last Saturday.

Dostie, who finished fifth out of eight runners in her heat, capped her indoor track career having competed in the ECAC Championship every season. In 2013, she posted an eighth-place finish with a 3:06.82 time in the 1000-Meter run and ran a leg of the distance medley relay, helping the Monks finish 17th with a 13:18.04 performance, in the 2014 event.

Saint Joseph's is scheduled to begin the outdoor season at Wesleyan University on Saturday, March 21st.
