SJC 4x100-Meter Relay Team Sets New Record at NCAA Regional

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Saint Joseph's College outdoor track & field team closed out the 2017 season at the NCAA DIII New England Regional Championship on Saturday with the Monks' 4x100-Meter Relay team finishing 21st with a team-record 52.12 performance.

Sophomores Alysha Smith (Jaffrey, N.H.), Makayla Norcross (Auburn, Maine), and Kelsey Barrett (Gardiner, Maine) and freshman Lillian Bisset (Jefferson, Maine) combined to break the team record by 0.54 seconds. The previous mark, set by the same quartet, was the top time (52.66) in the Regis Pride Classic last Sunday.
