STANDISH, Maine - The Saint Joseph's College indoor track & field teams competed in the 2019 NCAA New England Regional Championships over the weekend. The women participated at Bowdoin College while the men trekked to MIT for the regional event.
Four team records fell in the final indoor meets of the season, as the men broke the Monks' Distance Medley and 4x400-Meter Relay and the women set new marks in the 4x200-Meter Relay and the 4x400-Meter Relay.
MEN – AT MIT:
- Brandon Whitlock (Westbrook, Maine), Alex Fitzgerald (Lebanon, Maine), Michael Mason (East Bridgewater, Mass.), and Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) placed 14th in the Distance Medley with an 11:02.67 time
- Lance Santeusanio (North Berwick, Maine), Whitlock, Mason, and Fitzgerald raced to a 17th-place finish in the 4x400-Meter Relay (3:41.26)
WOMEN – AT BOWDOIN:
- Alysha Smith (Jaffrey, N.H.), Kaylee Todisco (Wilmington, Mass.), Marissa Hoffman (Harwood, Vt.), and Samantha VanDeMoere (Thornton, N.H.) finished 17th in the 4x200-Meter Relay (1:52.08)
- Holly Moores (Rollinsford, N.H.), Hoffman, VanDeMoere, and Sarah Curtin (Strafford, N.H.) finished 15th in the Distance Medley (13:59.57)
- VanDeMoere, Hoffman, Meghan Glisson (Merrimack, N.H.), and Curtin placed 15th in the 4x400-Meter Relay (4:23.79)
