Men Place 11th, Women 12th at UMass.-Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Saint Joseph's College outdoor track & field teams competed in the Corsair Classic Track & Field Invitational on Saturday. The SJC men placed 11th with 15 points while the women notched 10 points and finished 12th overall.

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN (Top 10 Performances):

  • Junior Marisa Quirion (Gardiner, Maine) finished fifth in the 10,000-Meter run (45:40.37)
  • Sophomore Marissa Hoffman (Harwood, Vt.) was ninth in the 400-Meter hurdles (1:16.27)
  • Freshman Kaylee Todisco (Wilmington, Mass.) placed 10th in the 100-Meter dash with a 13.60 effort
  • Freshman Dori LeMoine (Swan's Island, Maine) finished 10th in the shot put (9.90m)
  • Alysha Smith (Jaffrey, N.H.), Todisco, Lillian Bisset (Jefferson, Maine), and Alexis Beardsley (Livermore, Maine) raced to a fifth-place finish in the 4x100 meter relay (53.36)

  • Shot Put: Dori LeMoine, 9.90m (Tiara Smith, 9.67m, 4/12/14)

THE RUNDOWN – MEN (Top 10 Performances):

  • Sophomore Lance Santeusanio III (North Berwick, Maine) was third in the high jump (1.90m)
  • Freshman Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) finished sixth in the 3000-Meter steeplechase (10:35.85)
  • Senior Marshall Berninghausen (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) placed sixth in the hammer throw (42.48m)
  • Junior Alex Fitzgerald (Lebanon, Maine) was eighth in the long jump (6.06m)
  • Sophomore Anthony Blatus (Dracut, Mass.) finished ninth in the javelin throw (46.07m)
  • Freshman Michael Brooks (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) placed 10th in the 5000-Meter run (16:41.51)
