Women Place Sixth, Men Ninth at Jim Sheehan Memorial

FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Saint Joseph's College outdoor track & field teams competed in the Jim Sheehan Memorial at Fitchburg State University on Saturday. The SJC women placed sixth with 28.5 points while the St. Joe's men finished ninth with 20 points.

RESULTS: MEN l WOMEN

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:

  • Junior Marisa Quirion (Gardiner, Maine) was second in the 10,000-Meter run (46:25.49)
  • Freshman Naomi Ingham finished third in the 10,000-Meter run (46:40.75)
  • Freshman Kaylee Todisco was sixth in the 100-Meter dash (13.84) and ninth in the 200-Meter dash (28.88)
  • Senior Alysha Smith (Jaffrey, N.H.) placed seventh in the high jump (1.45m) and 200-Meter dash (28.31) events
  • Freshman Dori LeMoine (Swan's Island, Maine) finished eighth in the javelin throw (28.44m) and shot put (9.83m) events
  • Senior Sarah Curtin (Strafford, N.H.) was ninth in the pole vault (1.85m)
  • Freshman Samantha VanDeMoere finished ninth in the 400-Meter dash (1:03.96) and 800-Meter run (2:38.80)
  • Senior Kelsey Barrett (Gardiner, Maine) placed 10th in the 100-Meter hurdles (19.21)

  • 4x400-Meter Relay: 4:33.40 (4:34.59, 4/29/18)

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:

  • Sophomore Lance Santeusanio III (North Berwick, Maine) finished second in the high jump (1.87m)
  • Freshman Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) was third in the 3000-Meter steeplechase (10:23.96) and ninth in the 800-Meter run (2:09.66)
  • Junior Alex Fitzgerald (Lebanon, Maine) placed seventh in the long jump (6.10m)
  • Senior Marshall Berninghausen (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) finished eighth in the hammer throw (45.70m)
