McPhee Claims GNAC Weekly Honor

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been announced and Saint Joseph's college junior Abbie McPhee (Epping, N.H.) has been selected as the GNAC Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.

McPhee totaled 70 digs in four SJC Autumn Invitational matches on Friday and Saturday. She posted 27 digs in an opening loss to Bates College on Friday and averaged 5.38 digs over 13 sets in the tourney.

For McPhee, the weekly defensive honor is the second of her career. She claimed the accolade for the first time on October 28th, 2013.

Saint Joseph's will play at Gordon College on Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM.
