STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) postseason volleyball accolades have been announced and Saint Joseph's College junior middle blocker Felicia Wachowiak (Milton, N.H.) has collected First-Team All-GNAC honors for the second-consecutive season.
The two-year team captain registered 320 kills, 47 service aces, 115 digs, 103 block solos, 37 block assists and 488.5 points as a junior and led the conference in all blocking categories and points this fall. Wachowiak also ranked second in the GNAC in kills and points per set (4.2), fourth in kills per set (2.74), ninth in aces and 16th in attack percentage (.179).
During the season, Wachowiak was selected as the GNAC Defensive Player of the Week twice and claimed GNAC Offensive Player and ECAC Player of the Week accolades on October 27th. She was also listed on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on five occasions during her junior campaign.
A Second Team All-GNAC selection as a freshman, Wachowiak is just the fourth Saint Joseph's volleyball player in the last 20 years to collect a trio of All-Conference awards during their career.
Under the guidance of fifth-year Head Coach Yamile Nolan, Saint Joseph's posted a 9-22 record overall with a 3-8 mark in conference play. The Monks missed the GNAC Tournament – narrowly – for the first time in Coach Nolan's tenure this fall.
