Dostie Tabbed as Runner of the Week for 13th Time

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards have been announced and Saint Joseph's College senior Amber Dostie (Standish, Maine) has been chosen as the Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second-consecutive reporting period and 13th time in her career overall.

Dostie placed 32nd of 272 runners with a 19:05 time in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday. Her effort ranks as the third best in her outstanding collegiate career and fourth quickest in SJC team history, as the senior now owns six of the program's top 10 efforts all-time.

Saint Joseph's will run in the Purple Valley Classic, hosted by Williams College, in Mount Greylock, Massachusetts this Saturday.
