Defending champion Saint Joseph's College of Maine
secured the top seed in the upcoming North Atlantic Conference
baseball tournament. The Monks (11-1 NAC, 30-7-1 overall) will host
the three-day, double-elimination tournament beginning Friday, May
5. St. Joseph's will take on fourth seed Thomas College (7-5 NAC,
15-23 overall) in game 1 at 2:00 p.m. Second seed Husson College
(8-4 NAC, 23-13 overall) and third seed Castleton State College
(7-5 NAC, 10-17 overall) will meet in game 2 at 6:00 p.m.
The top four teams qualify for the NAC Championship with
predetermined tie-breaking procedures used to seed the tournament
field.
