On the day, the Monks collected 15 walks from six different Colby pitchers and also set a season high using 22 players in the win.

"It was good to get a lot of guys some work late in the game. We are going to need a lot of guys to step up during this stretch of the schedule," said head coach Will Sanborn. "We did a good job of making adjustments and being patient at the plate today, but I'd like to see us swing the bat a little better."

With today's victory, the Monks improve to 15-1. The team returns to action on Wednesday with a non-conference doubleheader against rival Husson College. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at beautiful Larry Mahaney Diamond on the campus of Saint Joseph's College.
