Dan comes to Saint Joseph's College after playing a big role for Mike D'Andrea at Deering High School. As a senior Dan was a captain on Deering's State Championship Team. Dan was selected as a member of the state All-Defensive Team, SMAA All-Conference Team, and the SMAA All-Academic Team. Dan's American Legion team was just as successful, winning the State Championship and moving along to the New England Regional where Dan hit .400 over 4 games and did not make an error.

As a freshman infielder St. Joe's fans will look for Dan to work hard to break into the lineup. A solid left-handed hitter with good hands, Dan could see time at either second base or third base.

Dan is the son of James and Eileen Brown of Portland, Maine.
