Monks Edge Golden Bears 3-2, Remain in Regional Title HuntMay 21, 2010WILLIMANTIC, CT - #8 Saint Joseph's College (34-12, 11-3 GNAC) defeated #3 Western New England College (34-12, 17-5 TCCC), 3-2, in the second elimination game at Mansfield Athletic Complex on Friday. SJC starter Andrew Keirstead '10 (Westbrook, ME) earned the victory with 5.1 innings of seven-hit ball and Mason Roberge '11 (Franklin, NH) closed the door with 3.2 frames of scoreless relief in the triumph.

Monks Win Third Consecutive Elimination GameMay 21, 2010WILLIMANTIC, CT - #8 Saint Joseph's (35-12, 11-3 GNAC) defeated #2 Wheaton College (34-10, 11-1 NEWMAC), 9-7, in an elimination game of the NCAA New England Regional Tournament on Friday evening. Ben Grant-Roy '10 (Biddeford, ME) went 4-5 with a run and two RBI and Chris Nanof '10 (Clinton, MA) earned his second victory of the day with four innings of one-run baseball.

Adams Double Helps Monks Stay Alive in NCAA RegionalMay 20, 2010Mansfield, CT --- In the first elimination game of the 2010 NCAA Division III New England Regional Tournament, senior catcher Travis Adams (Saco, ME) sent a ball deep into center field for a double to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the 12th, giving eighth-seeded St. Joseph's College of Maine a 5-4 win over fifth-seeded Worcester State College.
