MONK CONFESSIONS

2011: Made 10 appearances with seven starts as a senior pitcher…went 4-1 with a 3.72 ERA…allowed 46 hits and 11 walks with 22 strikeouts in 38.2 innings…ranked third on the staff in innings and ERA…suffered the loss in his first start as a senior after allowing two earned runs off seven hits in 4.1 innings versus Wheaton College on March 16th…went on to win four consecutive starts…improved to 1-1 on the year after yielding three runs off nine hits in a 6-3 win over New Jersey City University on March 26th…collected his second straight win with four innings of one-run, one-hit ball versus Lasell on April 6th and won again in his next start when he allowed one run off seven hits and fanned four against Thomas College on April 12th…saw his record improve to 4-1 after tossing five scoreless frames against Emerson College on April 18th…fanned four in three innings against Gordon College on April 25th…earned the starting nod versus Suffolk University in the GNAC Championship game on May 1st but did not factor into the decision after allowing six runs (three earned) off six hits in 4.1 innings…gave up one run off four hits and struck out three in a loss to Western New England College, the eventual regional champion, in the NCAA Tournament on May 19th…capped his college career with a 4.23 ERA, a 15-6 record and three saves…pitched in 48 games with 98 strikeouts in 146.2 innings…ranks sixth all-time in appearances.

2010: Appeared in 16 games with one start on the hill…posted a 4-1 record with two saves and a 3.07 ERA as one of the Monks’ elite bullpen arms…fanned 35 with seven walks and 33 hits allowed in 41 innings…opponents hit just .223 against him during his junior campaign…earned his first win of the year with 1.2 innings of one-hit ball against New Jersey City on March 20th…improved to 2-0 with two shutout innings of relief against Framingham State on April 8th…came up with one of the most clutch performances of the year with 6.2 scoreless innings of relief against Suffolk in the GNAC Championship game…struck out two and scattered five hits to earn the win in the title contest…pitched in three NCAA Regional Tournament contests and recorded his second save of the year after hurling 3.2 scoreless frames against Western New England on May 21st…earned GNAC All-Tournament honors.

2009: Appeared in 13 games with three starts...went 1-2 with a 7.20 ERA and 18 K's in 25 innings...fanned three with no earned runs allowed in three innings of relief against Farmington on April 10th...tossed 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief with three strikeouts against JWU in a GNAC Quarterfinal game on April 24th.

2008: Appeared in nine games and made eight starts as one of the Monks' weekend starters...posted a 4.07 ERA with a 6-2 record and 23 strikeouts in 42 innings...earned his first NCAA victory against Catholic on March 20th with three K's, three earned runs and eight hits allowed in 5 2/3 innings...baffled Daniel Webster on April 6th with five strikeouts and just three hits allowed in five innings...shutout Rivier for five innings and allowed four hits to pick up the win on April 19th...given the ball in the GNAC Semifinal game against Johnson & Wales on April 26th...responded by scattering eight hits and allowing three runs - two earned - in 5 2/3 innings to pick up the win...tied for the team lead in wins and ranked third in both innings and strikeouts.

High School: Named to the All-State Team, and was also Co-Player of the Year for the Class M Division in New Hampshire, as a senior at Franklin High School...pitched in the New Hampshire-Maine Senior Game played at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine...was a three-sport star at Franklin HS where he also played football and was a 1,000-point scorer as a member of the basketball team.
