Jon Dahms was tabbed as an assistant coach prior to the start of the 2013-14 academic year. His duties include working with the catchers and hitters as well as coaching first base.

A four-year member of the Monks’ baseball program, Dahms played in 47 career games and served as a team captain during his senior season. A skilled defensive catcher, Dahms fought through a myriad of injuries over his collegiate career and played a role on three conference championship teams, including the 2012 club, which broke the College record for victories (39) in a season.

Coach Dahms collected the SJC Sports Medicine Fighting Heart Award, which goes to an individual who has overcome an injury/illness to come back in his/her sport while showing dedication, heart and faith, following his junior season and earned the baseball program's Robert R. Doyle Award, an honor is given annually to the team member who best-embodies former Pitching Coach Bobby Doyle's spirit, dedication and love for the game of baseball, as a senior.

A native of Gorham, Maine, Dahms graduated from Saint Joseph’s in 2012 with a degree in Human Resource Management.
