2012: One of two Saint Joseph's College golfers to participate in all 10 of the team’s events…averaged 81.2 strokes in 18-hole events and 154.3 strokes in 36-hole competitions…recorded six top-10 finishes and placed in the top-20 on seven occasions…selected as a team co-captain...placed sixth with a 82 score in the SJC-hosted John Queenan Memorial Tournament at Point Sebago Golf Resort on September 18th…recorded a runner-up finish with a 36-hole personal-best 148 score in the Maine Intercollegiate Championship at Val Halla Golf Club on September 22nd and 23rd…the 148 card ranks as the lowest tallied by a Monks’ golfer since the 2004 season and third-best in the last 14 seasons…notched another runner-up finish with a 72 card in the University of New England Invitational at Cape Arundel Golf Club on October 1st…claimed Second Team All-GNAC honors after placing sixth with a 162 score in the GNAC Championship at Blackstone National Golf Club on October 20th and 21st…has competed in 25 events through three seasons and has posted the most sub-80 rounds (19) by any SJC golfer in the last 14 years.

2011: Participated in all eight events for the Monks as a sophomore…averaged 77.5 strokes in 18-hole events – the lowest average posted by an SJC golfer in six years - and 161.3 strokes in 36-hole competitions…tallied four top-10 performances and six top-20 efforts…captured medalist honors after shooting a 76 in the SJC-USM Kick-Off Classic at the Gorham Country Club on September 1st…recorded a career-low 72 card and placed fourth overall in the UNE Invitational at Cape Arundel Golf Club on October 3rd…finished in a tie for 10th with a two-day 156 card in the GNAC Championship at the Gorham Country Club on October 8 & 9…tied for 94th with a 162 score in the two-day NEIGA Championship in Brewster, Mass on October 17 & 18. 

2010: The only SJC golfer to play in all eight events…enjoyed a breakout year as a freshman…led the team in 18-hole average (79.5) and 36-hole average (163.3)…placed in the top-10 four times and the top-20 seven times…posted four sub-80 rounds…earned All-GNAC and Conference Rookie of the Year honors after placing fourth overall with a 162 card in the conference tourney October 30/31…named GNAC Rookie Golfer of the Week three times…finished fourth with an 82 card in his first collegiate action – the Southern Maine Dual at Sable Oaks on September 1st…registered a 77 and finished second in the Queenan Memorial at Point Sebago on September 21st…placed sixth at the UNE Invitational with a 78 at Dunegrass on October 7th.

High School: Played four years of varsity golf for Warren Herrington at Coventry High School, winning Conference senior year...earned the Coaches’ Award sophomore year and was selected as team MVP junior and senior years...made All Conference senior year…also played soccer and basketball.

Personal: Kevin Richardson, born on April 12, 1992 in Coventry, Conn…son of Butch and Dianne Richardson... majoring in Environmental Science. 

Why he chose Saint Joseph’s College: “It’s a small school, the location on Sebago Lake, and the community feel.”

What he does outside of golf: Hike, bike, boat and anything on the water or outdoors.
