Monks Place 15th in JWU Wildcat Invitational

CRANSTON, RI – The Saint Joseph's College golf team participated in a spring tournament with an appearance in the JWU Wildcat Invitational on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th. The Monks placed 15th with a 701 (355-346) team card in the event, which was held at the Cranston Country Club.

Senior Kevin Richardson (Coventry, Conn.) paced the Monks' quintet with a 166 (83-83) and finished 45th overall while freshman Michael Caron (Gorham, Maine) carded a 168 (87-81) and sophomore Ryan Berard (Millville, Mass.) shot a 174 (82-92). Senior Connor Rague (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) and freshman Andrew Berg (Fryeburg, Maine) also participated and each posted a 196 card in the spring event.
