Point Sebago has been the home course for the Monks Golf team since 2004. Located just north of campus on Route 302,Point Sebago is one Southern Maine’s premier golf courses. Golf Digest voted Point Sebago Maine’s best public golf course in 2003. The 7,002-yard layout works its way through 500 acres of white-birch forest. The 325-yard, par-4 15th is the signature hole, tempting long hitters to drive the narrow green protected in front by a pond and in back by mounds and bunkers. Point Sebago has many challenging holes which can challenge even the most skilled golfers. Point Sebago also offers a large 300 yard driving range with grass stalls, as well as turf matts for wet weather conditions. Four practice greens, and a chipping area create a suitable practice facility for the Monks golf team. |
