Eatmon Becomes 32nd Member of Monks' 1,000-Point Club

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College senior forward Raymond Eatmon (Huntington, NY/Walt Whitman) scored the 1,000th point of his career on Saturday in a win over GNAC-foe Mount Ida College.

Eatmon became the 32nd player in program history to reach the plateau with a dunk off a Zach O'Brien '12 (Schenectady, NY) pass on the Monks' first possession of the game against the Mustangs.

Eatmon is the first player in team history to amass 1,000 points, 750 rebounds, 200 assists and 100 blocks in their career. His 57% (431-756) field-goal percentage and 782 rebounds both rank as the fourth-highest career totals at St. Joe's, and he is 6th with 102 blocks in his four seasons.

Saint Joseph's (19-6, 14-4 GNAC), the defending conference champion, has earned the #3 seed for the GNAC Tournament and will host Lasell College (10-15, 8-10 GNAC) in the quarterfinal round on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
