High School: Played three years of varsity basketball for Jeff Weiss at Lawrence Woodmere Academy...won the state championship his sophomore, junior and senior years...was All-State as a junior and senior and earned Second Team All-Long Island senior year...averaged 23 points per game junior and senior year...scored 41 against Jericho High School during his junior season...selected as team MVP his junior and senior years...also played baseball and earned All-Conference honors on the diamond his sophomore, junior and senior years.

Before St. Joe’s: Spent a year at Suffolk Community College where he played for Head Coach Gregg Barry...averaged 18 points and 7 assists per game...also played a year at SUNY-Old Westbury where he appeared in four contests as a freshman.
