STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been announced and a pair of Saint Joseph's College men's swimmers have earned accolades.
Senior Stephen Quinlan (Andover, Mass.) has been selected as the GNAC Swimmer of the Week for the third time in his career and freshman Nathan Landry (Derry, N.H.) has claimed GNAC Rookie of the Week honors.
Against Western New England on Saturday, Quinlan won the 50-Breast (31.02), 100-Breast (1:08.25), and 100-IM (1:00.47) events while Landry posted wins in the 100-Fly (1:00.03) and 50-Free (25.91) and placed second in the 50-Fly (26.70). Both individuals swam a leg for the Monks' top-finishing 200-medley relay team, which posted a 1:56.87 time.
Saint Joseph's will compete in the GNAC Championship at Simmons University this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
