BRUNSWICK, Maine – Saint Joseph's College competed in the Bowdoin College Invitational on Saturday, with the women finishing fourth with 46 points and the men placing sixth with 31 points.
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Freshman William Blagys (Fairfield, Conn.) set a new program record and finished sixth in the Weight Throw with a 12.53m distance
- Freshman Noah Hutchinson (Southwest Harbor, Maine) won the High Jump with a 1.88m effort
- Freshman Lance Santeusanio (North Berwick, Maine) was third in the High Jump (1.73m) and eighth in the 60-Meter Hurdles (12.05)
- Freshman Mason Scully (Sanford, Maine) advanced to the 60-Meter Dash finals and placed eighth with a 7.56 time
- Sophomore Jacob Boissonnault (Biddeford, Maine) was fifth in the 3000-Meter Run (10:30.98)
- Freshman Connor Rice (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) finished sixth in the 3000-Meter Run (10:52.96)
- Sophomore Andrew D'Ovidio (Walpole, Mass.) placed fifth in the 200-Meter Dash (24.27)
- Sophomore Alex Fitzgerald (Lebanon, Maine) finished seventh in the 200-Meter Dash (24.37)
- Freshman Michael Mason (East Bridgewater, Mass.) was seventh in the 600-Meter Run (1:33.78)
- Freshman Brandon Whitlock (Westbrook, Maine) placed seventh in the 800-Meter Run (2:12.90)
- Sophomore Kevin McWilliams (New Milford, Conn.) finished ninth in the 1-Mile Run (4:54.77)
- Fisher, Boissonnault, Ben Plante (Biddeford, Maine), and Whitlock placed second in the 4x800-Meter Relay (9:30.95)
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- The quartet of Kelsey Barrett (Gardiner, Maine), Shannon O'Malley (Turner, Maine), Alysha Smith (Jaffrey, N.H.), and Lillian Bisset (Jefferson, Maine) broke the program's 4x200-Meter Relay record with a 1:55.06 time and finished second in the event
- Bisset finished second in a very close 60-Meter Hurdles race with a 10.7099 time
- Sophomore Breeann Sautter (Lisbon, Maine) was second in the 600-Meter Run with a 1:51.71 performance
- Smith placed fourth in the 200-Meter Dash (28.56)
- Barrett was fourth in the High Jump (1.34m) and 10th in the Shot Put (7.32m)
- Freshman Holly Moores (Rollinsford, N.H.) finished fourth in the 1-Mile Run (6:42.16)
- Sophomore Marisa Quirion (Gardiner, Maine) was seventh in the 800-Meter Run (2:41.34)
- Freshman Marissa Hoffman (Harwood, Vt.) advanced to the finals in the 60-Meter Dash and finished sixth with a 8.87 effort; she also placed sixth in the Long Jump (4.17m) and seventh in the 200-Meter Dash (29.41)
- Freshman Lindsey Barrow (Granby, Conn.) finished eighth in the 800-Meter Run (2:47.62)
- Sautter, Meghan Glisson (Merrimack, N.H.), Barrow, and Quirion raced to a second-place finish in the 4x400-Meter Relay (4:41.54)
