Monks Compete in Gordon Kelly Invitational at MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Saint Joseph's College indoor track & field teams competed in the Gordon Kelly Invitational at MIT on Saturday.

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:

  • Freshman Brandon Whitlock (Westbrook, Maine) finished fourth in the 1-Mile Run (4:53.91)
  • Freshman Noah Hutchinson (Southwest Harbor, Maine) placed fifth in the High Jump (1.88m)
  • Freshman Michael Mason (East Bridgewater, Mass.) was fifth in the 800-Meter Run (2:09.81)
  • Freshman Nick Baston (Wolfeboro, N.H.) placed sixth in the 60-Meter Dash (7.51) and was eighth in the 200-Meter Dash (24.58)
  • Sophomore Jacob Boissonnault (Biddeford, Maine) finished seventh in the 1-Mile Run (5:00.90)
  • Freshman Mason Scully (Sanford, Maine) was eighth in the 60-Meter Dash (7.54) and 10th in the 200-Meter Dash (24.83)
  • Freshman T.J. Hennessey (Belmont, N.H.) finished ninth in the 60-Meter Dash (7.55)
  • Sophomore Ben Plante (Biddeford, Maine) was ninth in the 1-Mile Run (5:07.55)
  • Sophomore Andrew D'Ovidio (Walpole, Mass.) placed ninth in the 400-Meter Run (54.05)
  • Freshman Alex Fitzgerald (Lebanon, Maine) was 10th in the 400-Meter Dash (54.12)
  • Boissonnault, Mason, Whitlock, and senior Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.H.) raced to a runner-up finish in the 4000 Meter Distance Medley Relay (12:10.38)

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:

  • Junior Alysha Smith (Jaffrey, N.H.) was 10th in the 200-Meter Dash (28.65)
  • Sophomore Breeann Sautter (Lisbon, Maine) placed ninth in the 400-Meter Dash (1:06.40)
  • Sophomore Marisa Quirion (Gardiner, Maine) was ninth in the 1-Mile Run (5:52.04)
  • Sautter, Lindsey Barrow (Granby, Conn.), Meghan Glisson (Merrimack, N.H.), and Quirion finished second – and set a new team record - in the 4x400 Meter Relay with a 4:33.92 time
