Hendricks Named GNAC Athlete of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been released and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) has been selected as the GNAC Athlete of the Week.

Hendricks placed second in the Mile (4:39) and 12th in the 800-Meter run (2:10.68) at Plymouth State University on Saturday. He was tops among GNAC runners in the mile and owns the second-best time in the conference this season.

For Hendricks, the weekly conference honor is the second of his track & field career. The sophomore standout was named as the GNAC Rookie of the Week on April 22nd, 2019. In cross country, Hendricks has been selected as the GNAC Rookie of the Week twice and was chosen as the GNAC Runner of the Week on September 16th, 2019.

Saint Joseph's will compete in the 2020 GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championship this Sunday at Boston University.
