BANGOR, Maine - Saint Joseph's College finished third with 83 points in the Husson Invitational at Saxl Park on Saturday.
THE LEAD
Senior Nick Shuckrow (Winslow, Maine) led the Monks with a 25:11 effort, good for fifth overall, while sophomore Lucas Fisher (Strafford, N.Y.) was sixth with a 25:13 time in the 6.92K (4.3 mile) race. Both runners garnered All-Invitational Team honors after placing in the top 10 indvidually.
THE RUNDOWN
- Freshman Kevin McWilliams (New Milford, Conn.) placed 21st with a 27:57 time
- First-year Ben Plante (Biddeford, Maine) finished 28th with a 29:08 performance
- Senior Connor Dufour (Augusta, Maine) was 29th (29:10) overall
- Freshman Jacob Boissonnault (Biddeford, Maine) raced to a 35th-place (30:02) finish
- Rookie Connor White (Bayport, N.Y.) placed 40th (31:54)
- Freshman Cameron Brown (South Portland, Maine) finished 50th (37:10)

Saint Joseph's is off until Saturday, September 24th when the Monks participate in the Cod Fish Bowl at historic Franklin Park in Boston.
