2019: Entering his first collegiate cross country season he ran in all eight events... starting off the season Abbott cracked 20 minutes for a 19:45 finish at the Colby-Sawyer Invitational (5k) placing 49th overall on August 31st... about two weeks later he ran in the UNE Invitational (8k) finishing in 31:22 on September 14th placing 62nd... at the Suffolk Invitational (8k) he ran a 31:17 to finish 136 out of 245 runners on October 19th... running his best time of 31:07 Abbott represented the Monks well at the GNAC Championship (8k) on November 2nd... closing the season he ran in the NCAA Regional meet as the teams 7th runner finishing in 30:32 on November 16th. 

High School: Ran four years of track and two years of cross country at Noble High School...ran the 4x800 and 1600 meter at the outdoor track state meet junior and senior year...captain for cross country and track senior year...was SMAA All-Academic all three seasons as a senior...was nominated for SMAA Sportsmanship Summit Athlete sophomore and junior year...also played football and basketball in high school.
