2009: Made 16 starts and 18 total appearances in the circle…recorded a 1.58 ERA with an 11-5 record and 71 K’s, against just 5 walks, in a team-high 102 innings…opponents hit just .233 (93-399) against her…started off the season with a 4-0 southern swing, with wins against SUNY-Oswego, Rockford, Fitchburg State and Delaware Valley…headed north with a miniscule 0.54 ERA, 12 hits allowed, one walk and 20 K’s in 26 innings…suffered her first loss, despite allowing one earned run in six innings against Emerson on March 21st…improved to 5-1 with a complete-game win, with 4 K’s, against Simmons on March 27th and went to 6-1 in her next start, a seven-inning, 5 K effort against Rivier on April 4th…blanked Mount Ida and allowed just two hits with eight K’s on April 17th…did not allow a run and fanned three against Lasell the next day…scattered 8 hits with 4 K’s in a 3-0 win over Suffolk on April 24th…earned Second Team All-GNAC honors…named as the Monks’ top pitcher with the 2009 Dani Waterman Award.
