FARMINGTON, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College alpine ski team finished fourth with a 4:24.80 composite time in a slalom event at Titcomb Mountain on Saturday.
Bowdoin College won the event with a 4:12.18 total time while UMaine-Farmington placed second (4:18.44), UMaine-Orono finished third (4:24.13), and Colby Ski Club placed fifth (5:24.29).
Colby's Katie Queally earned top individual honors with a 1:18.08 (39.83, 38.25) time.
THE RUNDOWN:
- Freshman Annie Cerminaro (Unityville, Pa.) finished fourth overall with a 1:21.25 total time after placing fifth (42.06) on the first run and fourth (39.19) on the second
- Freshman Jillian Luby (Wolfeboro, N.H.) was 13th with a 1:30.08 time after placing 15th (46.17) on the first leg and 14th (43.91) on the second stint
- Sophomore Sarah Hotchkiss (New Durham, N.H.) was 20th (1:33.47) after finishing 23rd (48.75) and 17th (44.72)
- Freshman Sarah Lachance (Auburn, Maine) placed 22nd (1:33.47) with a 49.24 time (24th) on the first run and a 45.31 (22nd) effort on the second
- Freshman Tucker Davis (South Berwick, Maine) placed 21st in the men's event with a 1:30.03 total time after placing 21st (45.96) in the first run and 25th (44.07) on the second
