STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College senior guard Kelsi McNamara (West Newbury, Mass.) has been listed on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.

McNamara averaged 19.0 points, 10.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 steals in a 2-0 week for Saint Joseph's. She scored 18 points with eight assists and five steals in a 71-55 victory over University of New England on Wednesday and notched a double-double with 20 points and 12 assists in a 93-71 triumph over Bates on Saturday.

The four-year starter is the first player in SJC women's basketball history to garner D3hoops.com Team of the Week honors.

Through six games, McNamara is averaging 24.0 points, 6.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per contest while shooting 50.5% (47-93) from the field, 43.8% (21-48) from three-point range, and 80.6% (29-36) from the free throw line. She currently ranks sixth in the country in scoring average and ninth in both assists average and total assists (39).

In 94 career games (93 starts), McNamara has scored 1,575 points with 460 assists, 285 rebounds, and 167 steals while shooting 40.4% (517-1281) from the floor, 38.9% (255-656) from beyond the arc, and 81.3% (286-352) from the charity stripe. She is the Monks' career leader in three-pointers made and attempted and ranks second in three-point percentage, fourth in assists, assists average (4.9 APG), scoring average and free throw percentage, fifth in points, sixth in free throws made, seventh in field goals attempted, and eighth in field goals made,

Saint Joseph's, ranked 12th and 16th in this week's D3hoops.com and Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) national polls, respectively, will host Maine Maritime tonight at 5:30 PM.
