Guillemette was a four-year member of the varsity field hockey team at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. Her class became the most successful to date with an overall record of (52-21), three conference playoff runs and the program's first NCAA Tournament bid. In 2016, she had a hand in bringing her team to an NCAA DII Final Four match. The following year, after receiving another bid, Guillemette and the Hawks fell in a shootout in the first round of NCAA play. In her career she scored 16 goals and registered five game winning goals for the Hawks.  

Prior to Saint A’s, Guillemette played both field hockey and lacrosse for Massabesic High School in Waterboro, Maine. She began coaching while still in high school with local youth programs and day camps. In college her coaching continued with high school clinics held at Saint Anselm’s and local summer camps back home in Maine. She majored in Criminal Justice with a Greek minor and is currently pursuing her MBA at Saint Joseph’s College.
