First-year setter Mariah Hebert (Biddeford, Maine) posted 16 assists and sophomore Felicia Wachowiak (Milton, N.H.) had five kills and a match-high four blocks.

The Beavers jumped to an early 5-1 lead in the opening set, but St. Joe's rattled off 13 of the next 18 points, including three straight kills from Wachowiak, to take its biggest lead of the game at 14-10. After five ties and a pair of early lead changes, Saint Joseph's grabbed a 14-11 lead on a service ace by senior Erica Russi (Debary, Fla.). The Beavers took command from there however, running off the game's final 14 points to close the match.
