ON THIS DATE - SJC Volleyball Tops Colby, 3-1

On September 8th, 2015 the Saint Joseph's College volleyball team defeated Colby College, 3-1, in a non-conference match at the Harold Alfond Center

NOTEWORTHY:

  • The win over Colby was the Monks' first in 11 matches versus the Mules all-time and remains as the team's lone victory over their in-state rival five years later
  • Senior middle blocker Felicia Wachowiak (Milton, N.H.) totaled 13 kills and broke her own single-game total blocks record with 13, including nine solo, in the triumph
  • The victory saw the Monks improve to 3-0 on the season as the team went on to win a program-record 15-consecutive matches
  • All Saint Joseph's programs have combined to post an 18-8-1 (.667) record in games played on this date
