ON THIS DATE: Monks Down Huskies in Three Sets

On October 8th, 2015 the Saint Joseph's College volleyball team defeated University of Southern Maine, 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-20), in a non-conference match at the Harold Alfond Center.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • As a team, St. Joe's totaled a program three-set record 82 digs in the victory
  • Freshman libero Jennelle Thompson (Rochester, N.H.) notched an SJC three-set record 28 digs
  • Senior middle blocker Felicia Wachowiak (Milton, N.H.) paced the Monks' offensive attack with 14 kills and a .294 attack rate
  • Junior setter Mariah Hebert (Biddeford, Maine) chipped in with 28 assists and 10 digs
  • All St. Joe's teams have combined to post a 25-19-3 (.532) record on this date
