ON THIS DATE - Seniors Lead the Way in 3-1 Victory over Nor’easters

On October 27th, 2016 the Saint Joseph's College volleyball team defeated University of New England, 3-1 (25-23, 26-24, 22-25, 25-18), in non-conference women's volleyball action at the Harold Alfond Center.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Senior Victoria Huntley (Ellsworth, Maine) registered a career-high 21 kills with 16 digs and five service aces
  • Senior Shadai Gosselin (Somersworth, N.H.) tallied 10 kills, 20 digs, and three aces
  • Junior Sarah Dyer (Seabrook, N.H.) delivered 39 assists and 14 digs
  • Sophomore libero Jennelle Thompson (Rochester, N.H.) added 33 digs
  • Saint Joseph's held advantages in kills (43-40), hitting percentage (.082 - .069), assists (42-38), aces (9-6), and digs (102-89) while UNE posted a 10-6 lead in blocks
