Fisher Earns Third GNAC Weekly Award

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been released and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Lauren Fisher (Hampton Falls, N.H.) has been named as the GNAC Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week.

Fisher earns her third GNAC weekly award after leading the Monks to victory in the Green Mountain College 5K with a 20:09 time, which was good for third overall, on Saturday.

The first-year runner previously was tabbed as the GNAC top rookie on September 17th and October 1st.

The Monks are off until Saturday, October 27th when the teams host the 2018 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships. The women's race starts at 1:00 PM and the men's event kicks off at 2:00 PM.
