BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College cross country teams participated in the 2018 NCAA DIII New England Region Championships, hosted by Bowdoin College, on Saturday afternoon. The SJC men placed 37th with 1,157 team points while the Saint Joseph's women finished 43rd with 1,208 team points.
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
- Freshman Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) paced the men and finished 160th overall with a 28:11 effort
- Freshman Jacob Huberdeau (Plaistow, N.H.) was 176th (28:25)
- Freshman Michael Brooks (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) finished 237th (29:25)
- Junior Ben Plante (Biddeford, Maine) placed 285th (30:33)
- Sophomore Brandon Whitlock (Westbrook, Maine) was 305th (31:09)
- Sophomore Michael Mason (East Bridgewater, Mass.) finished 306th (31:12)
- Sophomore Connor Rice (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) placed 357th (33:51)
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
- Sophomore Lauren Fisher (Hampton Falls, N.H.) placed 217th overall with a 25:25 performance
- Freshman Emma Allen (Jefferson, Maine) was 231st (25:44)
- Senior Sarah Curtin (Strafford, N.H.) finished 243rd (25:56)
- Senior Lauren Lecompte (Lewiston, Maine) placed 244th (25:56)
- Freshman Naomi Ingham (Alton, N.H.) was 285th (26:52)
- Freshman Julia Heroux (Albion, R.I.) finished 301st (27:15)
- Junior Marisa Quirion (Gardiner, Maine) placed 315th (27:32)
