Please share some of your favorite SJC memories - on and off the field:

A lot of my best memories at SJC took place between the lines at Larry Mahaney Diamond. I can't say enough how much baseball has shaped me into the person I am today and a lot of that had to do with the people I was surrounded by. Being able to practice and play every day with the friends and teammates I made is something I was never able to appreciate until it was all said and done.

The GNAC championships had a lasting moment every year from my sophomore through senior years. Luke Enman’s home run in the 9th that ended up being the winning run. Coming back 22-21 in a game where you had to be there to believe it. Finally, the walk off in the 9th coming from behind against Suffolk and then making a great run in the regional tournament in 2010.

Outside the lines, I was fortunate enough to meet a great lady friend who I am still with to this day. She recently moved to join me down in Austin. My closest friends now were also the teammates I competed with for four memorable years.

Notable performances as an SJC athlete (records, championships, individual accolades):

I don't know my records to a "T" but I am very grateful I had a successful career as an SJC athlete. One of the things I learned in the game of the baseball was to keep myself even keel. This is a game where you can't be too high when things are going good, but don't get too low when things are bad, everything always evens out. I think that mentality allowed me to remain consistent year after year and, while putting in a lot of time in the off season, I was able to see improvement each year.

That run we put together in '10 will always stay with me, of course. The GNAC championships with having to come back inning after inning, makes the memories that more memorable. Beating our rival from down the road, more times than not, is something I am very proud of as well.

I'm an outdoors person who loves skiing, hiking and being at the beach or lake. I'm a big fall season person who loves the foliage and weather change. Definitely more of a dog lover. I'm one who's always looking to explore or learn something new.
