Please share some of your favorite SJC memories - on and off the field:

My time at SJC was filled with friends, athletics, academics and challenges of all shapes and sizes. After competing in martial arts for 12 years, working through high school and playing lacrosse for a few years, I had no intention of playing sports in college, I was just burnt out. Clearly lasted about as long as a goldfish's memory... Freshman year I was moving in and within 20 minutes Tookie Gregoire (Amosun) '12 and Kody Peckham '12 saw a lacrosse stick in my room, next thing you know they brought me and recruited Blake Edwards '11 over to meet Coach Mike Edgar.

That year there were only eight guys that played in high school, and a handful on the club team before that...I was all in! With the goal of becoming a competitive program, it was going to be the inaugural season and I wanted to be a part of it. I wasn't on a team, we were instantly a family... Coach Edgar treated us like one of his own, he was there for us regardless of the situation. Long lasting relationships were formed on the field and at SJC, Tookie, Kody, Blake and I were rarely seen apart after that. To this day they are my best friends.

After Graduating in 2011, I was asked to help with coaching the defense, alongside Coach Edgar, before I relocated back to the Boston area later that year. Earlier this season, Coach Beriau and Coach Lewis asked if I was interested in running the pre-season workouts. I planned it out and drove up and for a week I worked with the Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams.

SJC has truly evolved since my time there as a student, but my time there after has been that much more rewarding. Especially seeing students like Jake O'Brien excel. He was a freshman the year I was helping out and to see him now in his senior year, the lacrosse "family" is always growing at SJC. From starting with a non-existing program, now a group of young talented players...makes me look forward to the Alumni game every year!

Notable performances as an SJC athlete (records, championships, individual accolades):

2x CAPTAIN ('10 & '11) GNAC ALL-SPORTSMANSHIP TEAM HONORS '11

Where are you employed? Please tell us your job title, duties, how long you've been there, etc.:

About two years ago, I, along with two business partners, formed my own Health and Wellness company called Always Strong Fitness (parent) ASF-Peak Health (sub) in Brighton, MA. This brainchild of ours has developed from a Personal Training business to now a Health Coaching and Wellness focused clinic. We joined forces with concierge primary care physicians, Newton Wellesley Primary Care, with the goal of reaching patients with a wide array of complications. Some of these diseases include COPD, Hypertension, Diabetes, Obesity and High Cholesterol. In collaboration with these doctors we aim to bring knowledge and guidance to those who are new to the benefits of a lifestyle of health and fitness. Along with owning Always Strong Fitness and ASF-Peak Health, I also work part time as a personal trainer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. Primarily working with clients (professors, PhD candidates and administrators) with strength and conditioning.

What do you do for fun?

I still play box lacrosse in Boston, MA during the week and Portland, ME on Sunday mornings, but most of my downtime if any is based on food or art. I am what you would call a "foodie," trying restaurants and recipes, along with creating health based recipes for fun that I can share with my clients. I also frequent the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, along with local galleries throughout the city with friends.
