BOSTON, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has released the 2015-16 All-Academic All-Conference selections and 89 Saint Joseph's College student-athletes have been honored.

This year's list consists of 861 student-athletes from 12 full-time institutions and 12 associate member institutions who have met the following criteria in maintaining a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, completed at least one full season of competition at a GNAC institution and is of sophomore status academically.

The list of 861 individuals from 17 GNAC sports constitutes the most honored by the conference for the seventh consecutive academic year and totals 38 additional individuals when compared to the 2014-15 list. With 89 honorees this year, Saint Joseph's ranks fourth behind Simmons College (111), Johnson & Wales University (103), and Emmanuel College (94) for the total number of student-athletes listed on the 2015-16 All-Academic Team.

For the Monks, the 2015-16 total is the most in the institution's eight years as a member of the conference, topping last year's mark by three individuals. In addition, Saint Joseph's has had at least 40 athletes honored in each of the institution's eight years as a member of the GNAC (2008 - 42, 2009 - 61, 2010 - 59, 2011 – 58, 2012 - 75, 2013 – 70, 2014 – 82, 2015 – 86, 2016 - 89; 622 total).

The following is a list of the 86 Saint Joseph's GNAC All-Academic selections; a group that includes 43 repeat honorees, including two who earned the award for the fourth time (****), 14 for the third time (***) and 27 for the second time (**) during their respective collegiate careers.
